The original Moule's store, Moule Paint and Glass, was established in 1949 by Bill and Margaret Moule. They had nine sons and three daughters who served their apprenticeships in their parents store. The family has literally grown up in the Glass Business and have expanded to 8 locations to serve you throughout the Northern California Area. All locations are owned and operated by the Moule's family members.

All Moule's shops offer the services listed above. We offer free estimates in most cases. We guarantee all sales and installations for one full year. Insulated glass carries a 10 year guarantee. For new construction and retrofit window replacements, Milgard and Certainteed Windows are our preferred suppliers of aluminum and vinyl windows, and all come with a lifetime guarantee.

If you have building blue-prints, we do our own take-off. We only have our own employees do installation -- NO SUB-CONTRACTING.

"A Little Moule History"

The Moule's started their first glass shop in 1949 in Grass Valley, California. Dad along with his wife Marge and their first three children, purchased the shop after his return from WWII as a P.O.W. Bill & Marge eventually had 12 children, nine boys and three girls. All of the men grew up working in the glass industry, and today, many of them own and operate their own glass shop. Moule's currently operate eight shops: Moule's Paint & Glass in Grass Valley, Moule's California Glass in Redding, Moule's Tehama County Glass in Red Bluff, Moule's Foothill Glass in Auburn, Moule's Elk Grove Glass in Elk Grove, Moule's Truckee River Glass in Truckee, Moule's Lake-Vue Glass in Orangevale and Moule's Paint & Supplies in Shingle Springs.
